Dodecylamine is a cationic collector with the molecular formula CH3 (CH2) 11NH2. It is a colorless to white crystalline substance with a refractive index of 1.4421 (20 ℃). Soluble in ethanol, ether, benzene, chloroform, slightly soluble in water. Dodecyl nitrile is generated by reacting dodecanoic acid with ammonia, and then catalyzed and pressurized hydrogenation to enamine for further reduction. Can be used for detergents, insecticides, emulsifiers, skin disinfectants [1], organic synthetic intermediates, and in the production of textile and rubber additives. It can also be used to produce mineral flotation agents, dodecyl quaternary ammonium salts, and disinfectant special agents for preventing and treating skin burns, nourishing saliva, and antibacterial properties.
